Lookout Hill Circuit Walk
Eatons Cutting Road turns off to the left from Arthurs Seat Road just east of the Mornington Flinders Road intersection. The dirt road leads to a car park at the start of the Lookout Hill Circuit Walk.
The 1 kilometre long circuit passes through stringy bark forest with a varied understory of small wattles and other native shrubs. We did the walk in October and were impressed by the variety of wild flowers that dotted the landscape. Spring is certainly one of the best times for walking on the Mornington Peninsula.
This is a short and relatively easy walk that skirts the summit of Lookout Hill. About one third of the way into the walk there is a seat where you can relax for a while and enjoy the views through the trees to the coast and rural hinterland.
