Seawinds to Browns Road
The upper sections of this 7 kilometre section of the Two Bays Walking Track has magnificent views across Point Nepean to Bass Strait. Starting from the formal gardens of Seawinds the trail heads down to join the Two Bays track which runs below the summit of Arthurs Seat.
Turn left and continue down through dry open forest on the long, sometimes steep, drop to McLarens Dam, a sanctuary for water birds. After the dam the trail leads up to Waterfall Gully Road where it leaves the Arthurs Seat State Park and takes you through the outer suburban streets of Rosebud.
Follow the signs first to Goolgowie Street then through a small reserve at Avalon Drive to Yambil Avenue and on to Duells Road. At the end of Duells Road an undulating trail leads through a narrow unused road reserve still with its original vegitation. This unbuilt extension of Gardens Road is the final one kilometre stretch to Browns Road.
